Lori Pye, Ph.D.

Degree: Mythological Studies with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology, Pacifica Graduate Institute

Lori is adjunct faculty in the Clinical and Counseling Programs at Pacifica Graduate Institute and teaches at Santa Barbara City College. She currently serves as the Executive Director for the Foundation for Mythological Studies (FMS). Her background includes executive management for international marine conservation organizations, including Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society as well as working with private and public coalitions in Latin America to develop the Eastern Tropical Pacific Seascape Corridor with the Ministers of the Environment from Costa Rica, Colombia, Panama, and Ecuador and NGO’s such as Conservation International and The Darwin Foundation. Dr. Pye has also served on the Channel Islands National Park and Sanctuary Education Board.

Areas of Emphasis: Ecopsychology, Mythological Studies, Archetypal Psychology, Environmental administration and education.
